Santo Domingo.- The candidate for rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), Dr. Jorge Asjana David, registered this Monday before the electoral commission of that academy the file through which he made his aspirations official for the elections scheduled for June 15.
Along with Asjana David, they also registered their candidacies before the commission, which is chaired by Dr. Enerio Rodríguez, the next vice-chancellors Bautista López García, Extension; Alexi Martínez, Administrative; rosel fernandez,
Professor and Amparo Céspedes, Research and Postgraduate, as well as the other candidates for other elective positions.
Upon leaving the commission offices at the Pedro Mir Library, the future rector ratified his commitment to academic quality, while guaranteeing the permanence of a public university in which the rights of professors, students and administrative staff are respected .
«Today the Great National Alliance takes another firm step on the way to the rectory, the doors of this project are still open for those who have not yet joined. Our goal is not simply to win, it is to implement the changes necessary to make the UASD a better house of studies”, he expressed.
The registration of Jorge Asjana David and his team is produced in the midst of a favorable scenario for the Great National Alliance that promotes the candidacy of Dr. Asjana.
According to the most recent measurements on the intention to vote in the UASD, Asjana David and most of its candidates outstrip the other aspirants to the Uasdian rectory.
