A group of soldiers and police who were carrying out work on eradication of illicit crops in Caño Indio, rural area of Tibú, Norte de Santander was surrounded by dozens of coca growers who are looking for stop eradication that the uniformed men advance.

Peasants from the villages of Chiquinquirá, El Progreso, El Mirador, Nuevo Sol, Orú, Kilometer 42, Kilometer 43, Los Angeles, La Arenosa and Vetas participate in the events; who Through a statement they demand that the National and Departmental governments not to stigmatize, single out or prosecute the leaders who are calling and participating in this ‘peasant demonstration’.
