In the last hours, Cundinamarca authorities report the fall of a police helicopter in the La Yegüera Alta village, in the Subachoque municipality.

They indicated that the helicopter, with plates HKPN-0715, left with six crew members from Barrancabermeja to Guaymaral. In the middle of the trip, he lost control and fell on the Vereda La Yeguera, leaving one person dead and three injured.

According to Captain Álvaro Farfán, Cundinamarca Fire Department delegate, the accident occurred at around 1:00 in the afternoon.

«We received a notice on Line 123 and the Subachoque and El Rosal fire department was dispatched immediately and in a coordinated manner. Upon arriving at the accident site, we found an aircraft that had six occupants, “said authorities.

They stated that the occupants were referred for their considerable injuries to hospital centers. “Unfortunately we have fatalities at the site, the helicopter belongs to the National Police,” they added.

After the rescue carried out by the firefighters of the department, the police authorities are investigating the facts and the reason that could cause this plane crash.

The main hypotheses outline a failure in the ship or an effect on visibility due to the fog or the weather that the municipality presented.
