“I was worried because I saw the desperation that I shared with the other passengers. In this experience, some lost their connection, others had meetings or simply the urge to reunite with their family. For this reason, the president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) of the Senate explained that although he is usually punctual, he could not wake up early for the event “10 for Mexico. Legislative Workshop for the youth”, which closed this Sunday.
As a user of air transport, like thousands of people, I suffered from flight delays, but this week they worsened. I traveled 3 times to Chihuahua and Monterrey, and each trip was delayed between 3 and 7 hours. The Legislative Power must act to know the causes and support their settlement

Cases coincide with the pilot alert
Last Thursday, the International Federation of Air Line Pilots Associations (IFALPA, for its acronym in English) issued an alert due to the increase in incidents -17 in April alone- in the airspace of Mexico City, including diversions due to excessive delays, aircraft landing with little fuel and aircraft proximity to the ground.
According to the organization, these phenomena would have been more frequent as a result of the opening of this airport (AIFA) and due to poor training of personnel and air traffic controllers.
