The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace A/J Remigio Ceballos inspected the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) station and the Detainee Control and Protection Center of this security body in the El Valle parish, Caracas.
This was reported by the owner through his Twitter account, where he explained that during the inspection he verified “the correct state of maintenance and efficiency in police action and guarantee of the human rights of those deprived of liberty.”
The National Government has repeatedly ratified the follow-up of the policies of State in terms of compliance with national and international standards that regulate the treatment of persons deprived of libertyand this includes police action and guarantees for the detainee, reports the Venezuelan News Agency.
Respect for the Mandela Rules, Protocols of Apprehension, Transfer, Protection and Preventive Custody of Detainees is essential, as Ceballos has referred to on other occasions.
