The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed this Friday his solidarity with the people of Cuba after the explosion that occurred at the Hotel Saratoga in the morning hours.

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Félix Plasencia, also expressed the deep sorrow of the Venezuelan people “for the incident that occurred today at the Saratoga hotel in Havana.”
“Go to the people and government of Cuba, and to the relatives and relatives of the victims, the solidarity of Bolivarian Venezuela,” he indicated through a message on Twitter.
Alba-TCP sympathizes
The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Sacha Llorenti, also expressed his solidarity with Cuba for the incident at the Hotel Saratoga.
“Our complete solidarity with the people and government of Cuba in the face of the explosion at the Saratoga hotel. We join the pain for the irreparable loss of life and wish the speedy recovery of the injured people. Cuba is not alone,” she highlighted.
The explosion of the hotel, located in Old Havanawas registered in the morning hours and left the building partially destroyed.
It is estimated that at least nine people have died and approximately 30 others are hospitalized with different diagnoses.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the explosion was caused by a gas leak, although the Cuban government will provide more details soon, reported the official account of the Cuban Presidency.
President Miguel Diaz-Canel He inspected the Hotel Saratoga and then went to the Hermanos Ameijeras hospital to learn about the state of health of the hospitalized patients.
