Idaan recommends taking the necessary measures to avoid shortages during the time the works last and the system is recovered.
The Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (Idaan) reported that this Wednesday, May 4, the Jaime Díaz Quintero water treatment plant will operate at 50% of its capacity for cleaning work in settlers 1 and 2 to guarantee the quality and production of the plant .
The work will be carried out from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will affect the water supply with low pressure in the Corregimientos of El Coco and Guadalupe and without supply the Corregimiento of Playa Leona, Barriadas Costa Oeste, Villas of Costa Oeste, Residencial Don Juan and surroundings, as well as Jardines de Mastranto, Lomas de Mastranto in the district of La Chorrera, in turn the Corregimiento Juan Demóstenes Arosemena and part of Vista Alegre in the district of Arraiján.
All necessary measures will be taken to reduce the effects of this maintenance, attending to sensitive points such as hospitals in the districts of La Chorrera and Arraiján that are affected, through tank cars.
