There are quotas for the Youth Employment subsidy plan

through the program Youth Employmentcompanies in Bogotá that create or have created jobs for young people between the ages of 18 and 28 may receive up to 55% of the equivalent of a minimum wage for the first three months.

For each beneficiary, participating companies will be able to receive $2,405,802 if the hiring was from July 2021, or $2,648,027 if the hiring was in 2022.
In total, there are 15,000 places and in the future it is planned to open a block with 25,000 additional places, for a total of 40,000 subsidies this year.

This plan is led by the Ministry of Economic Development in alliance with the family compensation funds of Bogotá, in order to encourage the private sector to generate opportunities for this population and close employability gaps.

To date, there more than 200 selected companies that they have linked 1,300 young people and that after verifying the documents and requirements, they will receive their disbursements in the coming weeks.

To participate, interested companies must pre-register at www.bogotatrabajo.gov.co/empleojoven/, Subsequently, the SDE will receive and verify the required documents, vacancies are managed and registered, profiles are sent and contractual management is carried out.

The district entity said that it is important to take into account that the involvement of young people must be by a period greater than one year or indefinite and with a monthly remuneration greater than a minimum wage.
