The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusationschaired by congresswoman Rosío Torres Salinas (Alliance for Progress), declared the constitutional complaint against the prime minister admissible Violet Bermudez and the former Minister of Economy and Finance Waldo Mendoza.
It is about the constitutional complaint formulated by the ex-congressman aron espinoza against both former officials, whose final report was debated and voted on last Friday, April 29.
Violeta Bermúdez and Waldo Mendoza were denounced for alleged constitutional violation of articles 109, 123 and 38 of the Political Constitution.
In addition, for the probable commission of the crimes of omission, refusal or delay of functional acts and resistance or disobedience to authority, typified in articles 377 and 368 of the Penal Code, respectively.

Both are charged with the lack of implementation of Law 31083, which establishes a special optional regime for the return of contributions for active and inactive contributors under Decree Law 19990 administered by the Pension Normalization Office (ONP).
According to the accusation, said implementation should have been done 15 business days after its publication. The approval of the constitutional complaint was adopted unanimously, that is, with 14 votes in favor.
The qualification report that recommends filing the constitutional complaint against former congressmen Héctor Becerril, Cesar Vásquez Sánchez, Carlos Bruce, Clemente Flores and Javier Velásquez Quesquén, for alleged violation of article 38 of the Constitution, was also approved.
