The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) appointed its first director on Tuesday with the designation the architect louis rose for a position that includes overseeing new construction projects.
Rosa worked in the organizing committees of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro. She was also involved in architectural projects for this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
Rosa, 33, will be tasked with creating 15 development centers with money earned by Brazil when it hosted the 2014 World Cup. His appointment comes almost a year after the organization’s ethics committee remove the former president of the CBF after allegations that he sexually harassed female employees. Rogerio Caboclo denied the charges.
