Professionals from the Department of Psychology of the Forensic Medical Corps and the National Program for Assistance to Persons with Disabilities of the Ministry of Justice of the Nation will participate in these interviews, in addition to references from the province of San Luis.
Four prosecutors appointed last year by Attorney Eduardo Casal work in the case.: the federal of San Luis Cristian Rachid; Marcelo Colombo and María Alejandra Mángano, heads of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation Prosecutor’s Office (Protex), and Leonel Gómez Barbella, in charge of the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutors’ Offices No. 8 and No. 3.

“They are all very small and they were very affected by what happened,” he said, adding: “It is useless for us to lie in bed and cry. That is why we wake up every day with the impulse to know what happened to my granddaughter.”
This Monday it was officially announced that more than 100 members of the Gendarmerie arrived in San Luis to carry out an exhaustive operation in the so-called “zone 0”, a vacant lot near Barrio 544 Viviendas and the Autopista de las Serranías Puntanas where the little girl disappeared.
The news was surrounded by a lot of secrecy on the part of the Federal Justice, which handles the case, in the face of a social mood that wavers between expectation and disbelief in the new measures.
In that sense, Guadalupe’s father’s lawyer, Héctor Zabala, told Télam that in the face of time “the worst decision is not to carry out a new search using other technology.”
In addition, the lawyer who sponsors Eric Lucero said that they were notified by the Federal justice of these actions “two weeks ago” and that the new searches “were indicated by the Forensic Anthropology team because the previous ones were not well carried out.”
He clarified that both he and the girl’s father were going to participate today in the Gendarmerie interventions and stressed, like the girl’s grandmother, that they feel “more restrained by the Federal Justice.”
“They answer all our legal questions, they receive us every time we ask for it and we are aware of what is happening in the investigation,” he said.
Finally, the lawyer stressed that although the case “continues without a cover” since November, when it went to federal jurisdiction, “the investigation was not stopped”, and “testimonials have been requested, the Gesell Chambers of the children who played with Guadalupe have been repeated when the girl disappeared and continues today with new raking”.
Lastly, the lawyer Jose D’Antonaof the María de los Ángeles Foundation chaired by Susana Trimarco, constituted as a private plaintiff in the case for the search for Guadalupe, He stressed in statements to Télam that it is “the first time in the country, in the last 40 years” that a group of prosecutors works in the same investigation of the search for a person.
The lawyer made these statements in the face of reports indicating that the Foundation had abandoned the representation of the girl’s mother, Yamila Cialone and had stopped acting in the case, on which he clarified that “the Foundation is a private plaintiff, it does not represent either the mother or the father,” and added that it was at the request of the Foundation that the Office of the Attorney General “asked that the case pass to federal jurisdiction and accept the prosecutors proposed by Trimarco”.
