Cusco: people protest against Pedro Castillo outside the Casa de la Juventud Coliseum

A group of people are in the surroundings of the Casa de la Juventud Coliseum in the city of Cusco, where President Pedro Castillo heads the VI Decentralized Council of Ministers in order to listen to the demands of the population and solve the social problems that afflict the region. From there they protest against his management with flags and signs asking him to keep his promises.

Images broadcast by Canal N show the demonstrators carrying posters in which the following messages can be read towards the head of state and the prime minister, Aníbal Torres: “President Castillo complies with the mandate of the people”, “Castillo enemy of tourism” and “Mr. Premier complies with Law 27600 and reform or give a new Constitution with the people “.

Meanwhile, another group of protesters described President Pedro Castillo and the leader of Peru Libre as “thieves.” Vladimir Cerron.

A police contingent provides security around the Coliseum in Cuzco. However, the protesters have managed to reach the front of this sports venue located in the Wanchaq district, the media reported.

According to the Public Sector Budget Law for the Year 2022, an initial budget item of more than 3,496 million soles was approved for the region Cuzco.

Likewise, during this year, the Government transferred more than 163 million soles for the execution of investment projects for the benefit of the population of this region.
