Maduro prepares plan to “neutralize the boomerang effect” of sanctions on Russia

Maduro prepares plan to "neutralize the boomerang effect" of sanctions on Russia

Nicolás Maduro says that Venezuela is recovering and that in a period of two years, the country could be 100% self-sufficient. “Everyone who produces in Venezuela has his profit guaranteed,” he said.

President Nicolás Maduro reported that his administration is preparing a plan to avoid the impact that Russian sanctions will have on Venezuela and once again demanded that the United States and the European Economic Community lift this measure.

“We are preparing for the effect of sanctions against the Russian economy. There is a boomerang factor generated by Western sanctions against Russia,” he said.

The decisions that will be made in this program, which he called the “anti-boomerang plan to protect the people of Venezuela,” seek -he said- “neutralize the brutal inflation against food in the world”.

His statements were given this Wednesday, March 20, during a meeting of the productive economy commission, where he stated that due to the sanctions against Venezuela “the rentier oil state is over. The sanctions accelerated this process, but we created the mechanisms to stabilize the country. In a maximum of two years we are going to guarantee all the production to then go on the way to go to the international market».

Maduro was accompanied by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and the Minister of Agriculture, Willmer Castro Soteldo, and a group of private businessmen. In the meeting he affirmed that «Venezuela is improving and is recovering. Everyone who produces in Venezuela is guaranteed his profit.”

He proposed to the Minister of Agriculture to create a basket of cryptocurrencies to encourage production in the country. “Castro Soteldo, What do you think of this idea? A basket of coins and cryptocurrencies to feed the center of accumulation and distribution of wealth in Venezuela.

He also reiterated the order to strengthen the CLAPs to distribute food to 7 million families every 15 days. «The CLAPs are a miracle of God on earth. I want the CLAP to arrive every 15 days, with its carnitas, its mortadella and other things. My big dream is that the CLAP System reaches 7 million Venezuelan families every 15 days. The Claps arrived from miracles ».

After a contact with the governor of the Apure state, Eduardo Piñate, he said that they would execute measures to prevent the smuggling of cattle from Venezuela to Colombia. «I have ordered new strict security measures to Ceofanb, to Minister Ceballos and to all the heads of the REDI and the ZODI for the smuggling of cattle into Colombia».

Besides, reported that this Wednesday a Conviasa plane arrived in the country with 250 Venezuelans from Peru. «I would like to have 100 planes for those who want to return. They are making the right decision, to go back to work and recover Venezuela. Venezuela is the only one that has a free plan to return to the homeland. Here you have a president who loves you.”

Maduro also assured that there is an alleged paid campaign to promote actions of hate and division through social networks. “Say no to the hate campaign. Behind the campaign of hate and division is the desire to fill our country with violence again, with some kind of guarimba, with some kind of sabotage,” he said.
