Fortaleza remains without points in the current edition of the Copa Libertadores, after being defeated 2-0 by River Plate (Argentina), on the night of this Wednesday (13) at the Monumental de Núñez stadium, in Buenos Aires.

With this new setback (after losing 2-1 to Colo-Colo in the opening round) Tricolor do Pici is the lantern of Group F without scoring yet in the competition.
After starting the match well, with opportunities from Renato Kayzer and Moisés in the first minutes, River took over the match and opened the scoring in the 9th minute. De La Cruz recovered the ball and crossed in the area. Capixaba got to cut, but the ball stayed alive and Enzo Fernández finished well.
The Argentines continued to improve, and expanded to 2-0 in the 32nd minute, when De La Cruz took the lead after a corner kick.
