congressman Charles Anderson (not grouped) was in favor of the statements made by the president of the Legislative, Maria del Carmen Alva (Popular Action), who said that no parliamentarian is “entrenched” in his seat and that if the general elections have to be brought forward, the call will be made.
Anderson indicated that the country requires almost a new beginning, due to the questioning errors that the President of the Republic has had, peter castleduring his eight months of Government.
“The country almost needs to start over because what we have had these eight months in total and utter misgovernment cannot be prolonged.. Peru is entering a very, very dark area and we don’t deserve it. Citizens don’t deserve this”, he declared in dialogue with Successful.

“As much as we tell the Executive to appoint suitable people, they have just appointed as director in the Ministry of Energy and Mines someone who has experience of having managed a market”, he added.
The latter in reference to the fact that this Monday, the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) appointed as general director of Mining the citizen Melvin Neber Flores Vilcawho was president of the Association of Possessing Merchants of the Huancayo Model Market during the period 2020-2021.
Likewise, the parliament that came to Congress with Podemos Peru described “irresponsible” the appointments that are made in the Government when appointing people without experience in the sector they enter.
“We are destroying what little there is of institutionality in Peru, because if you don’t have someone with experience how are you going to give them a gigantic budget… […] There is a supreme degree of irresponsibility on the part of the Executive and there is no spirit of amendmentthat has to change“, Held.
Alva’s statements
Earlier, Maria del Carmen Alva made a call to the President of the Republic, peter castleto resign and then assured that no congressman clings to his position, for which he was willing to call new general elections.
“Today we are going to see that issue which is to modify this item and fix the issue (of the law that exonerates the IGV), what cannot be fixed with an article is the misgovernment and the chaos that we live in, that is why we all ask the President to take a step to the side, here in Congress no one is entrenched in his seat, if there have to be general elections, then there will be general elections”, he told the press.
