Santo Domingo-. President Luis Abinader gave this Sunday the first palazo for the construction of five police detachments, a stadium, a field and a community center that will serve for the development of all the communities of Sabana Perdida, in North Santo Domingo.
He indicated that the new police headquarters will serve to dignify the work of police officers in protecting citizens.
Ángel de la Cruz, president of the Presidential Commission to Support Provincial Development, detailed the main works to be built and that were neglected by past authorities for years in the demarcation.
On his side, Senator Antonio Taveras reported that the Doctor Astacio General Hospital is being built, “we are making the province a mirror of development that will dignify its citizens.”
Palace of Justice construction
The president also announced the construction of the Palace of Justice of Santo Domingo Norte so that the residents of that demarcation do not have to move to other locations to resolve situations related to that branch.
The governor said that the resources and design of the building are available, which must be appropriate to the conditions of the land on which it will be built.
In response to requests from community members of the municipality, the president announced that in a period of 12 to 18 months, in coordination with the private sector, they will build a cultural center in which all traditions are housed.
Supervises Popular Cellars of Inespre
The presidential agenda for this Sunday in Sabana Lost also included the President’s supervision of the Mobile Warehouses installed by the National Price Stabilization Institute (Inespre).

Abinader and the first lady, Raquel Arbaje, received explanations from the director of Inespre, Iván Hernández Guzmán, about the process and reception of the government initiative.
Hernández Guzmán said that, in Sabana Perdida, 15 Mobile Warehouses were installed to comply with President Abinader’s order to bring food at low prices to the most needy population.
