Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) reported this Saturday that temperatures will be hot during the afternoon, due to the southeast wind, being pleasant at night and early morning, especially in mountain areas.
The governing body of climate predicted that some weak and temporary showers will be generated during the early hours of the morning towards the provinces of Barahona, Pedernales, Independencia, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, among other surrounding areas.
Onamet He said that these precipitations will have less presence on the national territory, for which a sunny sky, scattered clouds and little precipitation.
For tomorrow, Sunday, a frontal system and a prefrontal trough will be approaching, which will favor weak to moderate downpours with gusts of wind in locations in the southeast, southwest, northwest and the Cordillera Central. For Monday they will continue to be generated in less intensity and frequency.
