Coronavirus in Argentina: daily cases reached the lowest figure in weeks

The Ministry of Health of the Nation notified this Saturday, April 9, the detection of 840 new positive cases of coronavirus and 3 deaths in the last 24 hours. With these figures, the cumulative rate of infections in Argentina today amounts to 9,052,083 cases and 128,197 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

According to the latest epidemiological report, there are currently 41,184 active cases of coronavirus in all the country429 of them presented severe symptoms of the illness and required special care in intensive care. The percentage of occupancy of ICU beds at the national level is 37.4% and 39.2% in the AMBA.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, 35,601,432 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out.

On the other hand, after carrying out 15,849 tests to rule out coronavirus, the national positivity rate stood at 6.6% in the last 24 hours, a figure well below the 50% detected at the beginning of the year. To date, some 8,882,702 people have recovered from the virus in all the country.
