Santa Cruz: 133 cases of covid this Friday; positivity rate rose to 6%

The Santa Cruz Departmental Service reported that this Friday 133 new cases of Covid-19 were reported throughout the department. Of the total number of confirmed cases on this day, 132 correspond to the city of Santa Cruz and one to Camiri. The positivity rate was 6%.

With this new figure, the total number of positives in the department amounted to 103,035. While 80 patients recovered.

On the other hand, the report indicates that the number of people who remain admitted to intensive care units there are 29, of which 15 are coupled to an automatic respirator.

Vaccines

According to official data, This Friday 3,234 people were vaccinated. With this new figure, 1,758,172 people in Santa Cruz have received the first dose; 1,396,536 the second dose; 342,290 vaccinated have the single dose; and 313,783 have received the third dose.
