The Minister of the Environment, Juan Cabandié, affirmed this Friday that with a loan from the World Bank and his own contributions, works will be carried out to enhance the value of protected areas.
The minister assured that with National Parks “we try to conserve” these areas “with people inside”, since when the Parks open their doors “environmental education, visualization and sensory experience are favored”.
Cabandié participated in the closing of the National Meeting of Mayors and Mayors of protected areas, which took place in the Education and Training Center of that organization in the town of Embalse, Córdoba

“We believe that with the soft credit we obtained from the World Bank, added to a smaller component of our own funds, we are going to achieve a significant number of works to improve and enhance common use or operational areas of protected areas,” he said. the minister.
He also specified that thanks to the dialogue he maintains with the National Parks authorities and those who make up the organization: “We try to find a common point where we can agree to conserve protected areas with people inside.”
The president of the National Parks Administration (APN), Lautaro Erratchú, also stated that new protected areas had been created “such as Ansenuza, Islote Lobos, Laguna el Palmar, among others” and that this year “we had a great season with the and visitors in the parks”
