The National Anti-Drug Superintendent, M/G Richard Lopez Vargas, indicated that the Venezuelan State has public policies, strategies and plans to operationalize actions against the diversion of chemical substances and Sunad is the entity in charge of carrying out all the training for chemical operators and the institutions responsible for their control, Sunad press release review.
For its part, the Single National Registrar of Operators of Controlled Chemical Substances, Col. Deyvin Garcia Lugo, reported that this training is the second to be carried out in less than 2 months in 2022 and It allows reinforcing knowledge about the criminal responsibilities generated by incurring in this type of crime.
The training is in charge of the coordinator of Chemical Substances (Sunad), Edgar Guaita, and the Training Coordinator of the Center for Strategic Analysis and Advanced Studies on Drugs, Nairim Montilla, to provide knowledge related to the Administrative Regime and operational controls of chemical substances in Venezuela.
It is planned to take the training to the Western Region made up of the states of Falcón, Lara and Zulia and the Central Region, made up of the states of Carabobo, Yaracuy and Aragua, the latter concentrating the largest number of chemical operators in the national territory. Both institutions continue to make progress in minimizing the risks of diversion for the illicit manufacture of drugs.
