Colombian Julián Quiñones scored a goal in the 72nd minute to give champion Atlas a 2-1 victory over Necaxa on Thursday at the start of day 13 of the Mexican soccer Clausura.

The Rojinegros, Argentine coach Diego Cocca, returned to the qualifying zone directly to the league, with a goal from Argentine Julio Furch and Quiñones, while Uruguayan Rodrigo Aguirre discounted for Necaxa.
