The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) informed today (10) that the analysis of the final report of the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) of the Pandemic will follow the legal rules and deadlines.
In a statement, the PGR said that it received all documents yesterday (9). THE symbolic delivery of the report was carried out by the commission’s senators on the 27th of last month.
“The time lapse between the symbolic delivery of the report, which occurred on the 27th, and the receipt of the media is due to operational difficulties arising from the volume of material (approximately 4 terabytes) and the need to observe the institutional protocols that aim to ensure the chain of custody, fundamental to the legal validity of the information”, informed the attorney general.
According to the PGR, after the internalization procedure, the documents will be released to the team of investigators that works with the attorney general, Augusto Aras.
“From this analysis, eventual requests for diligence and other appropriate measures will result in relation to all the facts pointed out and indictments suggested by the parliamentarians”, says the note.
