Seventeen passengers injured when two buses collided on the Metrobus on July 9

Nail 17 people were injured this afternoon when two line buses collided in the Metrobus lane of 9 de Julio Avenue at its intersection with Córdoba Avenuein downtown Buenos Aires, road sources reported.

The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. in the Metrobus lanes of Avenida 9 de Julio and Córdoba, where for reasons that must be established two buses from lines 67 and 17 that were traveling in the same direction collided.

Both vehicles circulated with passengers, of which 17 were injured of different consideration, including the driver of line 67 who was the one who hit the rear of the 17 and four other passengers suffered more serious injuries, reported the head of SAME, Alberto Crescenti.

The injured were transferred to the Fernández, Pirovano, Durand and Ramos Mejía hospitals.

Police personnel work there, restricting the roadway, diverting traffic from the bus lines into the lanes of private cars.
