From Monday Uruguay will stop asking for antigen tests to enter the country

The Executive Branch decreed that as of next Monday, it will no longer be required to present a covid-19 antigen test in order to enter the country.

The complete vaccination scheme and the contracting of medical insurance will continue to be requested. In case of not having the coronavirus vaccine, a negative PCR test must be presented, as established by the decree of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP).

Those who enter the country must complete the affidavit from the MSP. If you have had covid in the previous 10 to 90 days and do not have the vaccines, you must prove a negative PCR or antigen test performed no more than 72 hours before the start of the trip.
