The interventions of different representatives of the State were established last weekend by the parliamentary team, designated for that purpose by the Council of Legislative Administration.
Among the first attendees were Francisco Cepeda and Freddy Monge, from the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute and the Bank of that instance, respectively, and Pablo Luna, from the Petroecuador Public Company.
Also presented before the parliamentary table were Alex Rojas, from the Association of Municipalities of Ecuador, Isabel Proaño, for the Consortium of Provincial Autonomous Governments, and René Lucero from the parish.
In addition to evaluating the text of the 2022 Budget, the Commission is also responsible for processing the Quadrennial Budget Program 2022-2025.
The documents were presented by the national executive on October 30 for a total amount of 33,899 million dollars, based on an average price of a barrel of oil of 59.20 dollars, among other economic assumptions.
Both proposals are widely criticized by social organizations, some parliamentarians and political analysts, in whose opinion the figures affect the poorest population.
