The Secretary of Transportation of the Nation, Diego Giuliano, highlighted the advances in sightseeing with the flexibilities that the vaccination against the coronavirus made that can be carried out.
In this sense, 217 international flights were registered in the first week of November, which encourages the activities of the sector and show “the reactivation and return of sightseeing”After the months in which it worked in a limited way.
“The first day there were 31 flights, we are expecting from six thousand to eight thousand passengers who can enter the country per day”, highlighted the official in dialogue with Radio 10. In this way, the sightseeing nationwide it will increase in all provinces.
“International airlines begin flight programs more frequently in Argentina,” emphasized Giuliano and, on the other hand, remarked that they also opened the possibility of entering the country by international buses or with bi-oceanic cruises, which generates more influx of travelers and travelers for the sector.
“We are quadrupling the arrival of tourists to the country and that is very good, we are on the green light regarding the pandemic, which allows us to open the borders,” he said.
On the other hand, he recalled that “tourists enter the country with the complete vaccination scheme, having a negative PCR, and do not have to quarantine.”
Tourism, transportation and elections
The weekend of November 20 is the last long of the year since the holiday is passed to Monday 22, so it is expected to be as successful as October.
However, before that weekend, elections will be held in the country and the official recalled that for November 14 there will be “free” public transportation because they seek “to encourage people to go to vote.”
