Cinematheque proposes "A look at Cuban Cinema"

With the exhibition “Ojeada al Cine Cubano”, the Cinematheque today proposes an approach to classic films of the local filmography, whose list included consecrated professionals of the seventh art.

The cycle began this Friday with the screening of the film Bailando chachachá, directed by Manuel Herrera, who won the National Film Award this 2022, and starring Eslinda Núñez, another of those distinguished with the recognition instituted in 2003.

Likewise, the calendar of presentations will close on March 31, the film The first charge to the machete, by Manuel Octavio Gómez, while the documentary Like a single voice, by Miriam Talavera and The man from Maisinicú, by Manuel Perez.
