Yesterday, the National Penitentiary School opened the Refresher Course for Penitentiary Surveillance and Treatment agents (VTP) and deputy directors of security of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers (CCR) of the country, with the aim of strengthening skills in the areas of attention to people deprived of liberty.
The course, which is taught by specialists in Law and other areas of knowledge, as well as by directors of the penitentiary system, the course is developed in the blended modality and includes topics related to the management of correctional security, control and handling of weapons and materials. related, security procedures in the context of human rights and ethical regime, among others.
More than a dozen CCR collaborators, responsible for the treatment of inmates, participate.
