The congressman of Peru Libre, Guido Bellidoquestioned that Daniel Salaverry has been appointed as a consultant to the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo.
“You know my position on Mr. Daniel Salaverry. I don’t think he is the right person in the environment (of Pedro Castillo) because he is linked to issues that are questionable. We have declared that a long time ago and we ratify it”declared this Friday before the press.
Guido Bellido, in mid-January, had criticized Daniel Salaverry by assuring that when he held the position of prime minister, his name was proposed to him to occupy the leadership of Sedapal.
“The gentleman is not politically serious. In what head can a person start in Apra, go through Fujimorism, go through Somos Perú, what is it, visitor? A little more seriously. Politics is denigrated with characters with sinuous trajectories”he said on that occasion.
Former congressman Daniel Salaverry was appointed presidential advisor to the Consultative Commission of the Presidential Office on government management, through an extraordinary publication published this Thursday in the official newspaper El Peruano.
The document specifies that the appointment to the position is honorary and of trust and that it does not disqualify for the performance “of any public function or private activity.”
