After a convulsive start to the year due to the third wave of the pandemic, the daily positivity rate of the coronavirus in Argentina it has plummeted to less than 5,000 cases in one day. This is confirmed by the Ministry of Health of the Nation in its last epidemiological part.
According to data provided by the country’s Situation Room, in the last 24 hours there were reports of 4,577 new cases of coronavirus and 29 deaths associated with viral diseasewhich represents a reduction of 104 infections and 10 deaths compared to the previous day.
With this new update, the cumulative infection rate of coronavirus in Argentina it rose to 8,990,413 cases, of which 8,797,548 are recovered patients. In addition, Some 127,363 people have died throughout the country as a result of the virus.
Currently, some 65,502 people are in the active stage of the virus, 707 of them hospitalized in Intensive Care Units (ICU). In this sense, the hospital occupancy rate is 39.3% nationwide and 40.2% in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA).
On this occasion, the Province of Buenos Aires was the one with the highest number of daily cases, with 2,229 infections in the last 24 hours. It is followed with the lowest incidence by the City of Buenos Aires, with 560 cases; Cordoba with 463; Tucuman with 247; Missions with 219; and Santa Fe, with 153 cases of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the daily cases in the rest of the jurisdictions do not exceed 100 infections. The list is completed as follows:

Strategic Vaccination Plan
On its website, the Nation’s Public Vaccination Monitor reported that 95,432,127 inoculating drugs have already been applied throughout the countryof the 102,876,090 sera that were distributed in the Argentine geography.
In total, some 40,535,672 Argentine men and women received the first dose of the treatment, 36,752,205 people completed the scheme with both doses and 15,116,629 people have already been immunized with a third booster dose.
