The representative of Calidonia, Ramón Ashby Chial, proposed this Tuesday before the plenary session of the Municipal Council of Panama, the creation of a health subcommission, to be evaluated, allow residents of the capital not to wear a mask in public places (parks, tape coastal, beach, open places of healthy recreation).

This commission will be made up of the Public Health Commission of the Council, the 26 representatives of the Capital District and Mayor José Luis Fábrega.

“Two years into the Covid-19 pandemic, positivity has dropped, so not wearing a mask outdoors should be considered,” Asbhy added.
