Latin Grammy 2025: the Colombian outfits that stole the night

From Karol G to Morat, Colombians shone on the red carpet of the Latin Grammy 2025 and won several awards for the country.

Latin music turned back on Las Vegas during the 26th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards, a gala that this Thursday, November 13, brought together talent, glamor and a lot of expectation at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center.

From noon, the doors opened to receive the most influential artists of Latin America, and as is customary, Colombia was present with an unbeatable mix of style, charisma and many awards.

One of the first to steal all eyes was Silvestre Dangond, who opted for a neat white suit, with a modern cut and with marked lapels that highlighted his bearing.

The look, elegant and fresh, ended up becoming the outfit of a historic moment, since with that same outfit she went up to receive the Latin Grammy for Best Cumbia/Vallenato Album, award that he celebrated with Juancho de la Espriella after their long-awaited musical reunion.

With a broken voice, Silvestre thanked his “compadre” and recalled the value of joining again after 13 years: “Music unites us, love unites us, we did it without pretensions,” he said.

The next Colombian to shine was Andrés Cepeda, faithful to his elegant seal. He arrived with an all-black suit, sober, classic and perfectly structured, a look that reinforced his essence as a warm and timeless artist. And it was no wonder, a night in which he celebrated his fifth Latin Grammy, this time for Best Traditional Pop Album for Bogotá.

In his speech he thanked Mauricio Rengifo, Andrés Torres, his team and his wife Eliza, whom he recognized as his greatest inspiration and support.

The youthful and modern touch of Morat, who opted for a black palette with white accents that gave them a fresh appearance, balanced and aligned with its characteristic style. Some opted for light shirts that broke the sobriety, while others were seduced by total monochrome.

The celebration was double, the people of Bogota received their first Latin Grammy for winning Best Pop/Rock Album for Ya Es Tomorrow. Amid applause, Juan Pablo Villamil dedicated the award to Bogotá and the families who have accompanied them during almost 15 years of their career.

The perfect closure left it Karol G, who did not walk on the main carpet but did steal the attention at the gala. The paisa wore a long black dress, with a soft fall on the chest and a subtle shine, which stood out even more with her brown hair.

His presence was as elegant as it was forceful: since he also celebrated the award for Best Tropical Song thanks to If I had known you before, a composition in which he worked together with Edgar Barrera and Andrés Jael Correa. It was his first triumph of the gala and a new reminder of his musical versatility.

With impeccable fashion, speeches full of emotion and a Colombian pride that is impossible to ignore, the night of the Latin Grammy confirmed that style also sings, conquers and celebrates.
