The General Directorate of Social Security Resources of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) detected irregularities in the working conditions of workers of fields and refrigerators, dedicated to the production of potatoes in Córdoba and San Luis.
In the operations, which were carried out in establishments in the Traslasierra area within the framework of the permanent tasks of control and supervision of compliance with social security regulations by the AFIP, a total of 103 workers were identified. , of which in 85% of the cases pension evasion maneuvers were identifiedwho performed their tasks in crowded conditions.
Likewise, “it was possible to verify that they did not have the necessary protection elements for handling toxic chemicals,” said a statement from the tax agency.
The agents of the General Directorate of Social Security Resources determine the corresponding finesat the same time that the procedures were initiated to “give rise to criminal actions that sanction the identified labor exploitation behaviors”, detailed the AFIP.
The procedures in charge of the General Directorate of Social Security Resources of the AFIP were carried out together with the Ministry of Labor, Renatre and the National Gendarmerie that depends on the Ministry of Security.
