The senator elected by the Metropolitan region, Fabiola Campillai, denounced yesterday through a statement addressed to Senator Francisco Chahuán, that a former member of the National Renewal and former official of the Production Development Corporation (Corfo), threatened her on July 31, 2021. Verner Saul Medina Rabello is the name of the person referred to, who after the fact, was taken to the Supreme Court of the party and is no longer part of it.

This was reported by the president of the party, Francisco Chahuán, through his social networks. In the response, the senator assured that he has not received any letter, neither written nor by email. This, because Campillai assured that he sent a document to Chahuán regarding the issue, which has not received a response, denounces the elected senator.
Through the use of his personal Twitter account, Chahuán assured that he contacted Campillai to express his condemnation of the former militant’s act and stated that due to the event, he is no longer part of the party.

After the threats, Campillai denounced Medina before the justice, for which the formalization hearing will take place this Thursday, March 3, in the San Bernardo Guarantee Court, as reported by the future parliamentarian.
