The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stated that the neutralized Wilexis gang is supported from Colombia by Álvaro Uribe, Iván Duque and by the fascist right in Venezuela.
He detailed that alias Wilexis was linked to the acts of violence that occurred in 2017. In addition, he recalled that a mercenary from Operation Gedeón revealed that the criminal actions of the deceased criminal “were fundamental” to activate the attempted invasion of Venezuela in 2020.
“Do you remember 2017? What was the first thing that happened here in 2017? A shooting in Petare, when the guarimbas. It was the first thing, it was the trigger. Just as they used what they called the ‘Koki’ in La Cota 905 to generate the spark, to see if they could unleash violence,” he recriminated.
Cabello also explained that Wilexis kidnapped 12 and 13-year-old girls to become his companions and when they came of age “he threw them away.”
“These gangs, unfortunately, are articulated with fascists in acts of personal attacks, sabotage, and terrorist acts,” he pointed out this Wednesday. during the broadcast from program 512 of Con el Mazo Dando.
In that sense, he reaffirmed that by instructions from President Nicolas Maduro in this year 2025, criminal gangs will be dismantled.
“If you are involved in a gang you have time to give yourself up. Go to court and you will be judged, they will give you all the guarantees. If you decide to confront the security agencies, assume your responsibility,” he urged.
The Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace also recognized the Commissioner General of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), Douglas Rico, for his tenacity in the legal intervention against the criminal.
