He did not indicate where the first operations and immigration arrests will be carried out, but reports indicate that it may be in cities such as Chicago (Illinois) and San Antonio (Texas). ICE will also be able to enter schools, hospitals and churches.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revoked a directive from the Joe Biden Administration that instructed immigration authorities to avoid raids in or near these locations.
