The Vice Minister of Internal Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM), Ramón Pérez Fermín, reported this Friday that, during the week of December 28, 2024 to January 3, 2025, several fuel prices will drop.
Also, the Government provided a subsidy of 235.0 million pesos for this week with the objective of maintaining unchanged the prices of four hydrocarbons of massive use.
In that order, he said that the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for 19.71 pesos; Regular Diesel, for 11.56 pesos; Optimal Gasoil for 7.04 pesos, and Regular Gasoline for 0.53 pesos, with the purpose of avoiding transferring to Dominican families the impact of the behavior of the international market.
Price update
He MICM provides that, for the week of December 28, 2024 to January 3, 2025, the fuels are sold at the following prices:
- Premium gasoline will be sold at 290.10 pesos per gallon; maintains its price.
- Regular gasoline at 272.50 pesos per gallon; maintains its price.
- Regular Diesel at 221.60 pesos per gallon; maintains its price.
- Optimal Gasoil at 239.10 pesos per gallon; maintains its price.
- Avtur at 195.91 pesos per gallon; drops 0.08 pesos.
- Kerosene at 226.20 pesos per gallon; drops 0.10 pesos.
- Fuel oil #6 at 159.49 pesos per gallon; drops 0.43 pesos.
- Fuel oil 1%S at 172.09 pesos per gallon; drops 1.25 pesos.
- Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) at 132.60 pesos per gallon; maintains its price.
- Natural Gas at 43.97 pesos per m3; maintains its price.
The weekly average exchange rate is 61.08 pesos, according to the daily publications of the Central Bank.
