Minsal announces vaccination schedule for the week of February 28 to March 6

The Ministry of Health released the vaccination schedule against Covid-19 for the week of Monday, February 28 and Sunday, March 6.

According to what was reported by the ministry, during this week the administration of the fourth dose will continue for people over 55 years of age who have received the booster dose until September 5, 2021. Added to them are immunocompromised people who received their booster dose by October 31 of last year.

On the other hand, the application of the fourth dose will continue to health officials who have received the third vaccine until October 31, 2021.

Along the same lines, children and adolescents 12 years of age or older and who have their complete scheme until October 31, may also be inoculated. This also includes immunocompromised boys and girls between 6 and 11 years of age, who must present a medical certificate or prescription that proves their health condition.

Likewise, the application of the first dose will continue for boys and girls over 3 years of age and the second dose for the population vaccinated with Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Pfizer, with at least 28 days from the first vaccine.
