Engineer José Paul Loayza Porras was appointed as the new municipal manager of the Provincial Municipality of Sullanareplacing the lawyer Danilo Calle Castillo who was there for 16 months.
The designation was formalized by Mayor’s Resolution No. 1297-2024/MPS dated November 29, 2024.

Loayza Porras worked for 17 years in the public sector, recently standing out as head of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of the Regional Government of Piura and director of the Pima Program. He has also served as Zonal Director of Agro Rural Piura, and between 2021-2022 he worked in the Municipality of Sullana as deputy manager of Urban and Rural productive management.
