After raids and searches carried out by units of the National Police together with the Public Ministry in different sectors of the Cermeño district, Capira district, five shotgun-type firearms and ammunition were seized and two people were arrested.
One of those arrested kept two shotguns in his residence, whose permits were registered in the name of another person. These citizens, along with the evidence, will be placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities.
In the last 24 hours, the National Police seized eight firearms in different sectors of the country, as part of Operation Panama 3.0 focused on strengthening actions in favor of security.
