The new fake news about Graciela Bianchi: a supposed “agenda” of the São Paulo Forum that is not such

The new fake news about Graciela Bianchi: a supposed “agenda” of the São Paulo Forum that is not such

Once again, the senator of the National Party, Graciela Bianchijumps on the fake news train using his favorite medium, X.com (formerly known as Twitter). Through her personal account, the ultraconservative legislator wrote on November 4: “Read and pay attention. It is a DOCUMENT”, with capital letters included.

Without further comments, share two screenshots taken from the Scribd.com website, a free and open-access document hosting service such as PDF or Microsoft Word. This document contains what, according to Bianchi, is the “agenda” of the Sao Paulo Foruma meeting of Latin American leftist forces founded in 1990.

To begin with, the document, It does not have any official formatsuch as any forum letterhead or logo, or It also has no seals or signatures of those who wrote it. There is no authorship or name that is responsible for what is transcribed there.

Then, include several claims difficult to confirmsuch as for example that the São Paulo Forum has planned to create a “military guard”, while it plans “submit the legislative and judicial powers under a single power”.

Then, he says that this political body wants “modify the Constitution to keep budget money at discretion.” Which Constitution? The document does not indicate.

Graciela Bianchi shared fake news about Gustavo Petro, just hours after being the new president of Colombia

The legislator, a heavy Twitter user, shared a photograph in which she supposedly…

Is the São Paulo Forum a place of religious worship?

Continuing with the exaggerated conspiracy theories, the apocryphal document shown by the National Party senator says that the forum wants to “demystify religions, introduce elements that are confused with religious sects,” and gain “control of the media, propaganda to promote the cult of leader”.

Then, he talks about another long list of false ideas of all kinds, such as supposed agendas that promote “homosexuality”, abortionthe relativity of values, the exacerbation of “communist power,” class struggle, indoctrination, and expanding “the army of party loyalists.”

This is historically unsustainable, given that both communism and socialism have harbored believers and atheists alike. Some of its founders and main theorists were atheists (such as Karl Marx), while others have sought to reconcile their religious beliefs with their political ideals.

In fact, throughout history, there have been conflicts between communism and socialism with certain religionsespecially in those cases where religion has been seen as an instrument of oppression or as an obstacle to social transformation. Many currents of communism and socialism have defended secularism, that is, the separation between Church and State, and the guarantee of religious freedom. Therefore, this document’s assertion of the supposed promotion of religious ideas is, to say the least, dubious and debatable.

The San Pablo Forum was created when the internet did not exist

Although the Forum of São Paulo (the Castilianization of the name Forum of São Paulo) was created in 1990, when the internet didn’t exist as we know it today. At that time, it was not an international information network with free and public access, but the unverifiable document that Bianchi shared says that the “stage 2” The purpose of the forum is to make total control of social networks and supporting satellite parties. Then, he supposedly plans to “reinforce the fight for the poor under the banner of Corruption and Neoliberalism.”

The forum, Bianchi subscribes, presumably seeks the “total control of the Internet”empower “paramilitaries who can evade Human Rights if necessary” (the number error between the noun and the adjective, at that particular point is written as is), while attempting to “map the businessmen to propose that “they become marginalized or flee the country.”

Without restraint and almost without limit, the points of this false agenda continue with such impudence that the grammatical and spelling errors of the document shared by the former educator who became a senator of the Republic takes away almost all traces of legitimacy. They assure that they want to create the concept of “the party” and then “remove those that can be seen as those of previous governments”, create “parallel” structures to control state governors, establish “money control mechanisms through technology” that intersects with “bank control.”

Bianchi once again shares false information on networks: the FA questions that the PN does not set limits on him

“Stage 3” of the false agenda of the São Paulo Forum, according to Bianchi, would be:

To conclude with the glossary of falsehoods, the document assures that the São Paulo Forum will promote massive expropriations, distribution of homes, land, companies in the name of the Party, and punishment of the upper economic class (it literally says: “money is a sin”), change of Constitution (again, it does not say which constitution or from where) for reelection at the discretion of the people and putting the means of production in the hands of the state.

The real ideas of the forum are something totally different

At this point, it is obvious that all these ideas have no agreement between each other or a common thread, but are part of several conspiracy theories that have circulated on the internet for decades.

In reality, the ideas actually proposed by the forum come from an articulation of political parties, social movements and leftist, progressive and socialist groups in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Forum originated from an invitation from the Workers’ Party (PT) of Brazil, then led by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The purpose of the initial meeting was to discuss strategies to confront the socioeconomic challenges faced by the countries of the region, especially given the advance of neoliberal policies and the fall of the socialist bloc in Eastern Europe.

It focuses on promoting policies of social justice, equality, sovereignty, and regional autonomy. It also aims to oppose imperialist and neoliberal policies, seeking development alternatives that favor the working classes and popular sectors of the region.

Throughout its meetings, the Forum has discussed various topics on its agenda, including:

  • Social justice and reduction of inequalities: The Forum advocates for policies that reduce economic and social disparities in the region, by strengthening public services such as education and health.
  • Sovereignty and anti-imperialism: He opposes what he considers external interference, especially from foreign powers, in the internal affairs of Latin American countries. This anti-imperialist approach has the objective of maintaining the independence of the political and economic decisions of each nation.
  • Regional integration: Supports cooperation and integration between Latin American countries, promoting independent and collaborative regional institutions as alternatives to global multilateral organizations, considered by the Forum to be influenced by foreign powers.
  • Environment and sustainable development: In recent years, the Forum has included the issue of environmental protection on its agenda, promoting sustainable and responsible development with natural resources.
  • Human rights and democracy: It also advocates the defense of human rights and the promotion of inclusive democratic systems.

It goes without saying that none of the ideas that Bianchi spreads are truly related to the forumand it is a document impossible to contrast with evidence and archives, while the absence of authorship and documentary validation confirms that it is an apocryphal text created for the spread of fake news.
