The National Police and the Public Ministry carry out Operation Gray Work, in the provinces of Panama and Panama Oeste, in order to dismantle a criminal group dedicated to the crime Against Individual Freedom in its form of Extortion.
In the raids, five people were arrested, allegedly related to the investigations into the complaints filed.
According to investigations, these people are dedicated to extorting and threatening construction engineers to hire them and thus take control of the projects. In addition to forcing workers to belong to a certain union.
Those arrested and evidence will be sent to the orders of the judicial authorities.
