They seek to return the pension system to the past

Just hours after the promulgation of the Law on Modernization of the Peruvian Pension Systembills are presented in Congress to return the system to the past, even worsening its situation. This without taking into account the damage done to citizens and as if there were no other problems to solve in our country.

Congressman Flavio Cruz, from the Peru Libre bench, presented last Friday a bill that proposes that members of the Private Pension System can withdraw up to 95.5% of their pension savings at the legal retirement age, which proposes Let him go ahead to 60 years old.

This, despite the fact that said withdrawal has been limited for people who, prior to the promulgation of the new rule, were 40 years old or older, because with the increase in life expectancy it is necessary for pension savings to be sufficient to finance the entire retirement stage of people.

The project also proposes raising the age for early retirement by five years, allowing people over 50 years of age to qualify and also ignoring the increase in life expectancy.

A similar purpose was presented 48 hours earlier, in two initiatives, by Congressman José Luna of Podemos Peru, to whom we not only owe, in part, the poor training of professionals in the country, but also the pulverization of pension savings. .
