In the same way, they state that the principle of universal jurisdiction that the Argentine justice system is applying to investigate crimes against humanity committed in Venezuela “is a legitimate and legal tool in the search for justice for the victims of systematic violations of human rights.” ».
The Argentine Forum for the Defense of Democracy adds that the accusations of “usurpation of functions” made by the Venezuelan authorities “are completely unacceptable” because they say they come from those who are accused of violating the human rights of Venezuelans.

Prosecutor Saab announced on September 30 new arrest warrants against Argentine ministers, judges and deputies in the case of the Venezuelan-Iranian plane Emtrasur and in retaliation for the arrest requests issued by the Argentine justice system against Nicolás Maduro and other representatives of this administration. .
