Mulino: «Social Security is not a card to throw stones at or close streets»

In his traditional Thursday press conference, President José Raúl Mulino referred to the progress that has been achieved in the two roundtable discussions on the Social Security Fund during the two meetings held this week.

Mulino told the unions that “Social Security is not a card to throw stones at or close streets.”

The president also pointed out that: “Someone said that I am a dictator, if I have to be a dictator I will be one to fix the problem for all those people, but enough is enough, that this mafia is entrenched in Social Security without anyone putting it in order.”

For its part, the National Confederation of Independent Trade Union Unity (CONUSI) reacted to the president’s comments through its social networks, stating that “No one has mentioned closing streets.”
