“The far right, which is more organized in Brazil and around the world, has brought together issues of sexual and reproductive rights, public safety, and education in this more conservative vote. It has been a representative voice of this more conservative agenda, bringing together many profiles. We have to remember that these voters are not just evangelicals, nor are they just Catholics. They are working men, working-class women, mothers of working families, who define their votes for other reasons and from other backgrounds,” he compares.
