Roberto Barría, General Manager of the Agricultural Development Bank, has visited 70% of the 36 branches nationwide. He will continue to evaluate each of them in the coming months, visiting projects and evaluating interest in new financing.
He also referred to the 78 million euros in bad debts accumulated over the last decade. He assured that they will establish payment agreements with producers to motivate them to continue with their activities in the sector.
He reported on the arrest of loans to be disbursed in Darien, where the largest number of irregularities were concentrated. Cases were disguised by using the same photograph of cattle in several files.
