MINSA of North Panama will hold a Health Fair on August 25

Dr. Algis Torres, Regional Director of the Ministry of Health in Northern Panama, refers to the cases of dengue in this area of ​​the country and the anti-dengue fair that will be held at the Nuevo Progreso school.

Torres indicated that in North Panama they have 980 cases in week 32. In Alcalde Díaz they have 94, Caimitillo 109, Chilibre 365 cases. All these places have been intervened two and three times.

Given the actions they have taken, the cases are decreasing. He said that fines are being imposed. In Agua Buena, Chilibre has intervened three and four times, he said, highlighting that fines of up to 5,000 dollars have been imposed.

On August 25th, the Nuevo Progreso School will hold a health fair, with general medicine, mammography, PCA, digital rectal exam, pharmacy, among others. In addition, black and white health cards will be issued on the same day.
