In his usual Thursday press conference, the President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, when questioned about the transfer of funds denied to the rector of UNACHI, Etelvina de Bonagas, pointed out that this institution is a winter headquarters of the PRD and that it seems that we have a “Maduro” in Panama at UNACHI.
“Yesterday I had to swallow the bitter pill of listening to this woman in the Budget Committee. This woman should not be given a penny more than she has and squanders, and I give her some advice: shut her mouth, because every time she opens it, she opens the door to the Public Ministry,” said the president.
Bonagas had two transfers of funds rejected by the Budget Committee of the National Assembly, one for an amount of 600,500 dollars for the payment of seniority bonuses to teachers and another for 259,706 dollars.
